Rumour is that the Scarlets will have a 6 / 2 split on the bench with Patchel at 15 and Halfpenny on the wing. Dan Jones at 10. Gutsy move.

They asked for 8,000, does this mean they returned 3000 unsold?

^^^^^^

Meanwhile it is reported that only 2,000 Racing supporters will be at their 'home' match in Bordeaux and 5,000 Munster supporters.

There are transport strikes in France at the mo and Air France is included and rail strikes but that is only a partial excuse ....the Paris supporters are unlike other popular french clubs and although they are getting 20k support in their recently opened new Stadium there isn't really a loyal base and the old Stade Colombes had very sparse crowds.
The new stadium is also a general money spinner with other attractions and business from the new Stadium/business centre

Anyway, enough about that , imo Scarlets should be proud of the amount of their away support.

If Foxy, McNichol, Asquith or Prydie were fit then I dare say it would have been a 5/3 split. But the Scarlets back three cupboard is bare so 6/2 makes sense. Cubby may end up on the wing before the end of the game as he did against Leinster in the Pro12 semi last year when the team was reduced to 14 men.

He is from New Zealand and has been prominent with Leinster for a while now.

I'm a bit surprised at the back three and the FH but I'm sure Pivac has a plan 'B'.
Good to see Steff Hughes on the bench, this young man is starting to impress me.

A pretty strong Leinster team, so it's a big ask but that won't worry the players as much as it worries us, the pundits. :D
