It is wrong that Leinster are 'HOME' v the Scarlets!

Whatever happened to neutrality?

Should switch the game to the Ricoh Stadium for neutrality!

I know the Scarlets beat Leinster and Munster away to win the Pro 12 but this is ridiculous!

I assume The Blues are at home to Pau and will be playing at the Principality

Well you/they, did it the hard way last season, so it's not impossible.

Top seed advantage. If Scarlets where in the same position would you still nominate the Ricoh?

Good question and the answer is no, they wouldn't.

Of course not, if any team had a choice, but that is not the issue.
The rules should dictate neutral venues and then there would be no 'choice'.
The fact that Leinster or Scarlets should have a home semi-final is not the ideal.

A wonderful talent to read others' minds... ;)

If we were the home team, I would imagine it would be played at the Principality Stadium as was the HC Semi between Cardiff vs Leicester. I doubt anyone involved would allow the game to be played at a small ground as the Scarlets have.

Just make the phrase "neutral" sound a bit ridiculous.. ..but then we are Welsh and second class from birth in the UK.

What major European club/regions competitions have neutral venues for semi finals?

It a Cup Competition and the spirit should be maintained ....

For me, up to the Qs it's ok,

For the semis either make it neutral ground as best can or decide on a criteria/formula fir a home tie.

Faffing about with a predetermined alternative that can provide unequal allocation is just plain daft.

Leinster have a distinct advantage whilst the other semi provides better joint opportunity but if Clermont had won it would've been to their advantage.

Seems to me that the emphasis on best revenue is greater priority than fairness for one team or another?

Gate receipts dominate and now the performance reward has apparently also been downgraded inflate Potential shareout which is now more in favour of the francais irrespective.

I don't claim to read minds, but neither do I believe that advantage, hard won, is frittered away, apparently for the good of the game. I don't hold the Welsh as 2nd class either but I did hear that theory many times, when I lived in Swansea and usually after the Swans had lost at the Vetch.. :D

Speak for yourself. Wales is the first class. It just needs a mind shift. Too long we have played down our abilities.
In the rugby world, we have always punched above our weight and in many other areas as well.
The last war between England and Wales was won by Wales but we let the biased English history and a Mommy's boy Henry VIII talk us out of it. Henry VIII brought up by a Yorkist mother sort to distance himself from his Welsh roots.
Try reading Henry VII by Nathan Amin, you can Google it.
Or read my historical novel, Henry VII, King of Princes.

From what I heard Saracens would have nominated Twickenham which could be considered a home venue for them but they have a history of bad ticket sales in semi finals(25k,17k)so plumped for the Ricoh after some pressure from the EPCR. The Organisers want gate receipts but they don't want half empty stadiums either in the crunch parts of the competition.
