Could Pro 12 history repeat itself in Europe?

Just shows how superior the Pro14 is.

This Country semi fixture is strange ... Leinster can play in home town with increased attendance ..Racing have to go to Bordeaux and a much decreased local presence.

Could be independent venues but that wouldn't gross as much of the filthy lucre ...

What is the stadium capacity rule for semi final venues?

Deserved that one, we were the better team throughout.

Whether we'll do that to the Scarlets, is another question.

No English team in the semi finals of the Champions Cup [after they fixed the competition with the help of the French to have a greater percentage of entrants compared to the likes of the Irish and Welsh as well as others].

And this is what is entirely wrong with the attitude of some in the Pro 14. When they don't win, it's blame the English and French and call it fixing. When they do win, it's laugh at the English and French and laud how superior the Pro 14 is. Trampie, are you incapable of the reasonable middle which is that the tournament was NOT fixed (if anything the representation of each league became fairer) and that things go in cycles?

I see these comments being plastered about by Pro 14 fans on Facebook and it's pathetic, do you have some sort of complex where you must always be trying to get 1 up on the Aviva and Top 14? It's like people with your mentality are just incapable of being in a mode that isn't either accusing the other side of some foul play or rubbing it in their faces.

This works both ways, have a read of some of the English club forums, they seem to have an issue with Irish and Welsh teams fielding under strength teams in the Pro 14.

I think this will be the end of the road for the Scarlets. I cant see anyone stopping Leinster now.

Well when you look at the hours played by various top flight players, it stands to reason that those in the Pro 14 are being rested more so it's got to be happening somewhere in the competition. I actually don't have an issue with it and think it's the Aviva that has got that wrong by flogging the players stupid. It's just when the European competition or internationals come around, the top Pro 14 players have been less hard worked than their English counterparts (less so the French).

I'm all about fairplay which is something the English is not known for.

It does become parochial which is understandable.

Statistics can help but they deceive too if not taken in depth.

Surely, in general, the best team wins although circumstances may differ.

I'm content with that ;)
