We all know what you’re thinking LE, You just don’t like the Irish ;)

Well done Munster, no complaints if Toulon had won it either, it was that sort of game. Easy to see why French rugby has taken a backward step over the last few years, good league structure albeit at the expense of French players.

I like Leinster a lot though. ;)

They probably wish they had one less French player, Trinh Duc has had a nightmare couple of weeks.

Hope we get them in the final if we get that far, even with Nigel. ;) :D

Watch the last shaky Munster scrum ...their 9 in trouble ....protected by Minster forward out of the scrum and directly in to help ..!!

Some doubt over the last pen too ...?

Not one to criticise refs but these 2 errors in the deadline mins are sinful and wilful ...

Sorry Nige that was poor.

Rub of the green ....hmmm...

Meanwhile Sky rejoice and hyberbolic ..

I'm bloody near to doing a Fids and bugger Rugby

I’m the second half Owens gave every big decision to Toloun, very interesting the so called “neutrals” on here aren’t highlighting THAT part of Owens reffing, very very interesting indeed. You’d think everyone on here was against Munster but I would never start such a conspiracy theory!

A great performance and a well deserved win by Munster.

A ridiculous performance from Owens and terrible decisions handed down to both teams really; diallowing a Munster try and then refusing to call Toulon for that FP, plus I thought Ashton worked the ball back legally at the end. Probably his worst ever showing with the whistle.

As a fan of Irish rugby, I'll take it.

Except for a few that decided the game :D

I think that Owens was delinquent in the last moments.

The biggest failing was a troublesome scrum for Toulon, a Munster forward broke his bind and went straight in from in front to help the 9 who was being ransacked.

A clear penalty and it was very kickable in front of the posts (OK ....T-Duc would probably have missed it :D )

However, spilt milk ...

The headlines in my french newspaper this am

Toulon : á trop gaspiller ....Toulon...too much wasted ....and that is probably the best summary ...

forget reffing ..difficult but one plays what is in front of one ...

Toulon missed opportunities and not only due to the excellent Munster defence....Radradra knock on on the line was sinful and trusty T-Duc missed touch there for all to see as prime examples.

15 mins tmo is a farce especially in the context of that glaring scrum offence in the last mins.

It's a circus now....

Yep, good summary Tel. Bottom line is that if T-Duc had found touch near the end of the game, then Toulon would no doubt have won the game.

His star has slipped but the TMO and the assistant refs were poor too. They should be picking the best not 4 officials from the same Union.

Pointed out Nigel was letting his reputation as a "the best referee" go to his head, he thinks he knows it all and can apply the laws arbitrarily. I wouldn't call him biased but he is staggeringly inconsistent at times and seems to have little regard for some of the norms of refereeing. Of course when it was happening in the England-Scotland game it just gets dismissed as sour grapes because everyone knows Nige is the best ref in the world and cannot be questioned.

Some of the newer referees actually seem decent, that young Kiwi guy whose name I can't remember seems decent. Doesn't always get it right but, from what I've seen, will be pretty consistent throughout a game.
