Cudmore representing Clermont is a joke, he enjoyed a career there, left and took them to court for maltreatment

Meanwhile 14/16 ...

and tmo for Clerm with pen znd maybe yellow

Getting tense and tight and surprisingly Laidlaw on for Parra

Vakatawa off for Racing ..

Last Q definitive...

17/16 ..Laidlaw pen pending long for him ...will rue Oarra absence?..sorry its Fernandez ...

off target ...

Clerm can't close a game, not in the genes ..one of their problems ...Racing can if they take the lead

I hope that Racing win, because according to the new rules if a team wins the Champions Cup but are in the bottom half of their league, as Clermont are, then they automatically qualify for next season, which could impact on the Blues and Scarlets depending on how they do in their final league matches. As for the match itself, very tense and thrilling indeed.

If the worst comes to the worst and they lose both their Euro semi-final and their remaining Pro 14 matches, they could well fall outside the Pro 14 top three and in the process will have to enter a Euro play-off.
