I only tracked Nick Williams in the first half, is he worth it for the odd barnstorming run?
Nick Williams first penalty was given away after only 4 minutes.
A second penalty by Nick Williams this time three points are given away.
The third penalty by NW after 24 minutes gave away 50 metres and possession.
The fourth Penalty by NW after 39 minutes nearly gave away three points.

I haven't seen the game but surely, even he must realise that giving away penalties is not good.

Ha, thanks. I set up a thread fairly recently about Nick Williams. Which is on the same lines as Big Red. A player who can shake up an opposition is good. But if you give away more points than you help to create, then you surely have no use in the game? Percentage rugby but Williams doesn't seem to do controlled aggression, some of his play is stupid and despite his decent breaks now and again, is he winning the Blues games? Genuine question.

We still need another win, so it is not time for counting any chickens.

There is a good side in there somewhere, but we are at least 2 quality props and a quality second rower from giving any top side a scare. If Toulouse and Lyon decide to field their best sides we could still miss out.

That is the right half back combination though, I think having Anscombe back helps a lot.

With all the Williamseses on the team list - who was the scrum half?

Tomos started, Lloyd finished.
