Match postponed.
This may cause Sarries probs.
EPRC rules regarding postponements are strict and failure to play during w/end allocated can resort in void.
There are previous activities to re site games to avoid that eventuality e.g when Stade Francais scheduled match for Belgium, 30k match tickets sold, cancelled because of snow.
Hastily rescheduled back to Paris ... rules state ticket holders preference and understandably not many Belgians turned up and it was a very meagre gate.

Other instance team a Sco team to play at Tlse had their kit lost by the Airline ... v hurried re negotiation saved the day.

The harsh rules are dictated by the resultant potential significant timetable log jam.

Champions Cup update - Saracens v Clermont
10 December 2017 22:30

The postponed Champions Cup, Round 3 fixture between Saracens and ASM Clermont Auvergne will now be played tomorrow (Monday, 11 December) at Allianz Park with the kick-off scheduled for 5.30pm (local time).

With continuing adverse weather conditions expected in the vicinity of the stadium, it has been decided that due to health and safety concerns, the Pool 2 match will be played behind closed doors and no spectators will be permitted to attend.

Only necessary staff and accredited working media will have access to the venue.

EPCR would like to thank all match ticket holders for their understanding

It's because of EPCR rules that are tight on any postponed fixtures ... after YE and this double w/end there's 6 Ns Championship play offs and the final rounds of EPRC (and potential qualifying pre-emptive knowledge) and finals ..

Just an indictment oin the bloody overall timetable
