Good cross-kick by Anscombe and pass by Tomos Williams. Macauley Cook scores a second try. 29-21.

Bad defending by the Blues there. A massive gap and poor marking. 36-21.

A near-try by the Blues was intercepted by Parisse and eventually the Georgian guy scores the try unopposed. 41-21.

Kick pass a feature of Blues play

Then Parisse gets in on the act for a superb break out try!

PS that winger, Macalou ... with pace is a flanker :D Going to be a big time player.

46-21 FT. The second-half was disastrous for the Blues, but the first-half was actually quite competitive. SF's renaissance continues indeed.

It's a case our their highly paid imports v our el cheapo imports.
However, my lasting impression was that Rhun Williams is not ready for the international scene.
He fell off a number of tackles during the game.
I believe it would be more in his interests to be with the U20's in the U20 RWC.
Rhys Patchell should have been the one going on tour instead.

Stade Francais are actually quite a good team; it is just that they have been severely mismanaged in recent years. Today they beat the Blues, just as they have recently beaten Toulon, Racing 92, Ospreys, Bath, Gloucester...

Connacht have been even more off-colour in the league this season than Cardiff Blues have, so let us see how they do tomorrow. Granted, they did pretty well in Europe BUT Toulouse are in severe decline, the win over Wasps was subsequently declared illegitimate by the EPCR themselves and Zebre are, well, Zebre (who actually beat them last month in the Pro 12).
