Faletau and Vunipola I agree. Warbs is going to have to prove himself at the start of the tour, which i am sure he will.

No other 7 in the squad comes close/as close to good enough.

WHAT A GAME!!!

Saracens simply brilliant!!! Claremont are quality and will come back stronger, but doff my hat to the fez heads!

Gats and co must be chuffed though, Farrell, Mako, Billy, Kruis, Itoje, George immense!!!

A good day for not only English and Lions rugby, but also for the game in general! Awesome from start to finish!

He has pedigree, but he has been out with injury, so like Kruis has, he will have to prove himself. I am sure he will though. As for 7? I think if we utilise Toby and Billy together we have to put Warbs at 6.

Magnificent game between two worthy teams.
Great comment at the end about the drinking.
Old school rugby on and off the pitch :occasion5:

Pretty good game although felt Owens was reffing on Clermonts side at the start of the 2nd half, Sarries got absolutely nothing from Owens then and clermont got away with a lot in their own 22.

Sarries won that game in the first 20. They are very unique in that they can switch styles of play, very flexible and adapt and attack from all over the park. Clermont on the backfoot most of the game and frankly it was predictable as their power is immense. Fair play to Mark McCall he is one hell of a coach.

Is the rumour true about Sarries debt? If it is, they will probably halve that in sponsorship fair play to them.

More to that than meets the eye in my opinion.

Wray is a backer and a SA consortium.

I believe that they are playing a long game and indications that 2 SA teams may participate in Pro 12 could be a forerunner ;)

I think that SA presence and sponsorship is going to grow and eventual, inevitable increased Interntional level Club rugby will increase and Conferences will be the theme.

The IRB have always shit bricks over it and now World Rugby know that they can no longer sit on the pot (same theme :D ) regarding an international timetable....

Good game. The quality, accuracy, speed and intensity throughout showed why these are Europe's two best teams.
