Yep, no difference between that and the try saving tackle during Scarlets v Ulster the other week.

Anothr try saving tackle inches...Wow..

Fail safe they take the kick to ensure BP instead of going for the try and 1/2p bloody misses!!!

10/3

could well be Sarries/Tln 1/4.?

Thunderous match .. draw would've been fair result

On to Gla match now to settle the issue.

Basta was outstanding all aspects of play and how he carried tbat weight thro the game was amazing!!

Bugger the purists that was truly worth the admission!!

Been back played it and paused it the initial contact was across the chin ....... it is truly *fupping* laughable another rule that is a complete lottery and the "best referee in the world" decides he will not follow directives he disagrees with :D The tackler had the option to go below shoulder level bat wrapped him up with a high tackle, exactly the same as Scarlets Ulster.... One changes a outcome of a game the other does not or rather they both effect outcome but contradict totally. It was not missed it was ignored. That is unacceptable as it makes the outcomes of competitions like this a lottery influenced by the official. Shameful double standards.

It's because commentators, pundits, journos and coaches, rather than back the new rules. have all got their tits out about how many red and yellow cards were being dished out. So the referees have all lost their bottle and are now ignoring the new directives, especially as their supreme leader Lord Worlds Greatest Referee Sir Nigel of Owens has shown his complete disdain for them.

Far from ones of his best games. At best he was Inconsistent for both teams.

As usual, he does seem to favour a team in red

I agree with that and I think the tweet may be Nige's way of saying it?

and .. for such an intensive game some of his flippant comments didn't really wash.
