There seems to be 'virility' is this opinion justified?
What about the 'bottom feeders' and their influence?

Every team is playing about every other team.
The bottom teams can influence
a lot can still happen
Bonus points can be handy.
Lions alone had 'another full house' win from 5 bonus points picked up against 2 nz , bulls , Stormers and the big win at Ellispark in Round2 over the Jaguares

a Bonus point is earned for losing by less than 7
and a Bonus point is earned by scoring 3 tries or more against the opposition

Three tries? Instead of four for a BP. Blimey. It's difficult to get into it up here, I watch what I can but there have been episodes halfway through one particular game and because it was behind schedule they switched to the next sports programme. it's bloody infuriating. Saw the Brumbies v Waratahs game. So many handling errors but hardly surprising because it was like rugby on speed! Best player by a million miles was David Pocock. What a player he is. Worlds best 7 I reckon. He looked better than Warburton and Sam Cane but then it wasn't an International.

Pocock is all class, one of my favourite Aussie players. :thumbright:

I think they changed the try’s from 4 to 3 so the trailing team has a better chance.

Blues are 2nd to last because they are a bit shit, but they also have to play the other kiwi teams, which is definitely a negative.

The canes and chiefs are 3 and 4, still have 2 games to play to catch the lions and 1 the saders. Rebels in 3rd because they are in the easy group.

Plenty of time to go, but I think these jibes at the blues will quieten down as they move up the ladder. :D

You can score 3 tries but opposition obvious then musn't score
So its the Difference they award the Bonus point for! Must be 3 tries or more e.g. this weekend Lions scored 8 tries and Stormers 3 tries. Diffs are 8-3=5 but only the Lions got the Bonus Point as the diffs are 5 which is more than 3

The conference system still stuffs the analysis. It's not a true round-robin at all.

If you examine it and take into account the placing of each team played and the number of games it looks a lot different.

Super Rugby is still giving out participation awards to SA and Aus teams who don't deserve home finals.

Blues not bottom well done 24 -10 Sunwolves. a Game I watched as you l see the games for rockbottom are normally rockhard as the one team, in this instance the Blues want to get away from that

Love watching Ben Smith play... That guy is utter class.
So much talk about him being shifted for player A or B.. Stuff that, let him play where he wants and work around it.

Bulls Sharks....gulp!
