Post Currie Cup semis deciders
Last round : Bulls doing well under Mitchell beat the Pumas
Sharks lost to Western Province at home
Griquas finished bottom will play Griffons in promo/rele
Lions beat Cheetahs 44-17. Much was said about Cheetahs bringing their Pro14 side but Lions too good. Ruhle at 15 for Cheetahs missed too many tackles. Skosaan Lions vs Speckman Cheetahs was special. Rohan janse van Rensburg (RjvR) ruled in midfield , great combo with Harold Vorster. Kwagga Smith at 8 mom performance. Cyle Brink a 190 kg bench presser great try on the blind flank. Mighty mouse( Dylan Smith) Moose (Malcolm Marx) and Poliesman (policeman) Jaques van Rooyen great scrumming. Ovrie ruled the lineouts.
Semis next week :
Sharks vs Blue bulls
Western Province(WP) vs Lions

promo/rele Griquas (bottom cc) vs Griffons ( 1 st div winner)

Lions picked their 5 boks that played in RCs for the semi against wp. Moose and buddy's son Ross Skosan and Coetzee.
WP did not pick de Allende. They opted for EW Viljoen and Huw Jones against RjvR
Bulls did not pick Paige and Nyakane who played against nz. Mitchell offered Paige to the Lions who declined the free offer. He opted for Ivan van Zyl and Marnitz Boshof combo at 9/10 and Schoeman his th.
Chilliboy who played the last test as bench for Marx not picked for the Sharks but they did pick Jean-Luc du Preez. Their bench hooker is Akker v d Merwe who played for Robbie Dean's Baabaas

I call my son 'little bugger'... Can't wait for that to become his Springbok nickname.

If your lad makes it that far, I'll do my bit up here and buy a springbok shirt with his number and little bugger on the back!!
