I really enjoyed the game.

Quota moaning aside this has to be the first time Bok has shown his face so soon after a Bok game.

I do think that silly session extra 10 mins was significant.

SA raised morale during that period and ABs had no need. to continue it ... they were territorially dominant and potentially multiple tries...unlike them not to take the better risk free option and kill it.

I didn’t think it was that silly tbh, just shows they back themselves. Was a gamble, and it very nearly bit them on the arse, but I would much rather see teams going for it like that than not.

Was a bloody great game that. :thumbright:

D.Mac getting better and better. The back 3 is getting log jammed, especially now Havili has come into the mix, he’s been good. When Udon, BS and Dagg are back in the mix, it’s going to be shit for some of them.

I thought Scott Barrett played well, as did the Hanes(sp?).

Was good to see our reserves play so well. :thumbright:

South Africa will no longer be a walk over against Wales. In fact that familiar word ' white wash ' is coming to mind !!!

It was unnecessary ABs were in command, best, safest option....off the park.

PS The injury now 6 mths duration after op.

I agree kicking it out was the safest option, but I think going for it is worth it as well. They are good enough to go for 7 points. We are so used to teams taking the soft option. A bit like taking the 3 points, more and more teams are going for the try nowadays. I think it’s good. NMS getting injured is just part of the game. Take risks, shit happens. If we scored it would’ve put the shits up the boks.

But it proved a poor decision, SA got their pecker back that period and important player lost for extended time.
This time risk decision didn't pay off.

No big deal, ..............

:wtf: just another Tel dig at the AB's

You have to be prepared to take some risks in top sport.

The chances of them paying off are just as high as not paying off.

The black jersey hasn't got where they are by playing "safe conservative" rugby.

I did not take part in this utterly bulls*t poll.
Firstly there was no radio button for my selection! None zero
The ranges were only onesided!
It was favouring only nz supporters and had no/none options for a sa supporter that felt his team stand a chance
anyone feel the same?

I

Don't get your titties in a tangle Bok, I didn't vote either because none of the options were within the range that I wanted.

My advice is stick to your usual quota excuses, moaning about a poll favoring the NZ supporters is pretty immature.

Truth is a 57 nil two weeks ago was always going to influence the poll.

I hope this isn’t the whoosh it looks like.

But they are usually very balanced in their approach to the game and admirable in the preparation and professionalism. Perpetuating the reckless nature of that period when in command and could have left the field with the Boks flat was unprofessional and was unlike them.

This level of sensitivity to what was a valid criticism, potential turning point of the game and an important injury incurred was unnecessary and they just got drawn in to the 10 min mayhem.
It was a valid point and not a dig that again warrants the posse to defend! ;)

Define professionalism with regards to play Tel. Not being sensitive, and not looking for a fight, honest, I do understand where you’re coming from, just disagree is all. Professionalism on the field is being respectful, not harming anyone illegally, and all those types of sportsmanship rules, that aside, winning is about all that’s left no? Is it because that’s the way it’s done, anything else is unprofessional? I seriously don’t understand where you’re coming from.

Christ we're at definition level now!

I'm done, the posse are on a false trail :D

Another saga on the horizon, ....bugger it!
