Post NZ loses it's greatest talent!!
Not rugby related but................. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-41243394

Dame Kiri Te Kanawa announces she has retired and has already done her final performance! Been a massive fan of this lovely lady ever since I heard her sing 'The Nuns Chorus' (Mascagni) many years ago!! hard to believe that age has sadly caught-up with such an immense talent!! She was originally a Mezzo who by dint of sheer hard work became a full soprano, and is/has probably rated among the top-5 soprano's ever!!

Her upper/lower range and control was immense as in this clip? To coin a phrase, thanks for the memory Ma'am.

Bit of tough luck for you then, old chap. I really don't give a toss about your perceived sensibilities!!

She has always said that when she retired she would come home to live at her beachside property in the Bay of Islands.

She comes home often, she is a sponsor for NZ opera singers.

What many probably don't know she loves fishing in the BOI.

When I saw who started this thread, I thought all our sheep had died.
