Shit decision. Should've merged the Brumbies and Rebels.

Australia is huge, they basically told half the (rugby watching) country to go *fupp* themselves.

Aus rugby is run by idiots.

And we thought it could only happen in Wales.

All a bit strange how it's unfolded. Wouldn't be surprised if this goes a lot further with lawyers etc.

The rebels have drained a ton of money yet are kept.

Melbourne have had 6 or 7 years, but are not really any closer to being competitive than when they started. They might even be further behind.

I saw stats somewhere, that showed Melborne had used 3 times as much money as Force will try and find, hope they stay in

Interesting idea on another forum from Australia, that the Force/ Spirit , whichever is more appropriate could join Japan Top League for 2018-19 season. They are in almost same time zone, would create international interest in the League, which would benefit Sunwolves in Australia.

In fact the Japan League should be looking at the rest of Asia to expand, just like Pro14 have done.

Think about adding the Dragons in Singapore, or a team in Hong Kong.

Great idea, needs to be more happening. With the Japan yen and payment for players you wonder why more hasn't been done already. NZ have an excess of players floating around too.
