Saders vs Chiefs

Chiefs have a massive hill to climb after a long flight, plus the saders are looking the goods. They rolled the landers, who next year could be wooden spoon contenders if everyone who is tipped to leave, leave.
Saders by 15

Lions vs Canes

Much harder to pick this one. Canes travel is a disadvantage, but they will probably have the best hooker(best player in some eyes) on the planet starting. Weather looks alright, with a afternoon kickoff. Should be a few try's up for grabs.
Canes by 8

I don't think the Chiefs are playing well enough this year to run over the Crusaders. That said I reckon our forwards are underrated and the Crusaders won't push us around. If it's dry we have a decent chance, but if I had to bet on it I'd say the Crusaders by 1-12.

The Canes were crap last weekend and got the job done. The Lions were crap last weekend but got the job done. With the bullshit draw we have no idea how these teams match up so I can really only go with the team I know. BB needs to play better, the Canes forwards need to be solid. Aso is back, who gets dropped? I'd drop Savea - Goosen is in form and Savea looks fat and slow (again). TJ - BB - Aso - Laumape - JB - Goosen - NMS, if the forward pack gets parity that backline should do the job. Canes by 1-12.

I'd put Aso in the midfield with Laumape if he's fit, JB to FB and Nehe and Goosen out wide. Savea is in serious trouble form wise, he's been boarderline for a couple of seasons but now he's just meh. I'm picking him to have 1 more season with the canes, then it's off to get the retirement package up north.

That guy needs to pull finger instead of wait for Hansen to grab his arm and yank.
He's still no.1 when in form imo. He's just lazy now?

But agreed; I can see him taking the retirement package too. Sadly.

Re the semis...
Some great games up ahead. Hoping for a Lions Crusaders final!
I'm normally a pessimistic *prk* but I'll put it out and say that's what we'll be getting.

I don't know if he's lazy bro, seems like he's lost "it". He's been bloody all over the shop the last couple of years, still good, but not what everyone expects, by everyone I mean me. :pirate:

Great Aso is back his super form is right up there with Laumape
J Barrett, at 15 is awesome.

Coles was wonderful last week, he should start I hope, hard on ricotelli
Savea on the bench
I really like the prop rotation they are not excellent but unsung a bit.. I hope May can have 1 more big game, man he's played the Lions twice then last weeks game, 34, get up there May one more time.
BB you need a Biggy don't have to kick so just play a great game.

Saders should win, and may be our best chance depending on Canes, go the Canes, one more pressure game which u thrive at

The Hurricanes team to play the Lions in Johannesburg on Sunday:

15 Jordie Barrett
14 Nehe Milner-Skudder
13 Vince Aso
12 Ngani Laumape
11 Wes Goosen
10 Beauden Barrett
9 TJ Perenara
8 Brad Shields
7 Ardie Savea
6 Vaea Fifita
5 Sam Lousi
4 Mark Abbott
3 Jeffery To’omaga-Allen
2 Dane Coles (c)
1 Ben May

Reserves:

16 Ricky Riccitelli
17 Chris Eves
18 Loni Uhila
19 Reed Prinsep
20 Callum Gibbins
21 Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi
22 Otere Black
23 Julian Savea

Bus to the bench, good decision that and Goosen deserves his spot.

Canes up 22-10 at the half.
Some lucky try's for them.
Goosen is playing far better than the bus, good for him.
I hope the canes don't fade in the second half, they were gassing it all of that 40.
