Post Ryan Kankowski to lead the Lions (sa). Currie Cup round1
Round 1 on Saturday
Steval Pumas vs Lions
Will be tough but experienced captaincy. Hanekom at centre. Ovrie at lock. not sure as its the Pumas homeground. Its paramount to get a good start.
"The visitors should be wary of the Pumas, though. Despite the defeats in 2017, the Pumas ran the Lions close in three high-scoring encounters, and with the stakes a little higher this time round they could cause an upset. "

Griquas vs Bulls and Cheetahs vs Sharks

Western Province a Bye

Kankowski, who recently joined the Lions from the Toyota Industries Shuttles in Japan, will play in the back row alongside flanks Jano Venter and James Venter. Lock Marvin Orie will lead the way in the tight five, as he is the most experienced.
In the backline, Super Rugby players ...

Will have to see...

Brunbies score

Besides that I'm being a smart arse, good player but didn't really reach the lofty heights people thought he would. Did he get a 2007 RWC title? Or too young

You're spot on with the Cheetahs
Cheetahs 47 Sharks 12. Cheetahs were at strength and Sharks understrengthed as their big guns will be in the S18 QFs. Cheetahs were also stronger than their S18 underperformed team. Rosko Speckman at centre , Chris Dry and Cecil Africa all back and some players that couldn't play in the S18

Watched some Craven Week (Bulls / Eastern Province). We couldn't pass, catch, kick, tackle, throw in the line outs or run.
Other than that, we were awesome!

Looks like another season of buying Bok U/19's from other provinces again!

I have no idea how we're going to go in the CC... Nollis is still there  :drunken:
