Post Argie Concern
Reported here today the concern that there may be a general return of Argie players to N Hemp.
The current set up was designed to retain players and furnish the 4 Nations

The transfer of Facundo Isa to Lyon has exacerbated the concern

Guys, can you feel the concern coming from Tel? :bs:

Another post about the end of SH rugby coming from the unfounded rumour specialist Tel. I'm sure we'll get linked to some French newspaper as proof of this impending doom.

I find it a disappointing attitude from a rugby supporter to so badly want rugby outside their own country to fail.

I am genuinely concerned.
I want the Argie initiative to succeed and I confess that this is double edged :

-furthers an initiative that will better identify and promote Argie rugby and broaden the S Hemp spectrum

-lets foreign players feather their own nests and in so doing will promote french rugby and the young players that deserve development and presence in their own country set up

For Argies, ...read also pensioned Kiwis, Aussies anbd Boks who are still allowed to play abroad and have National representation, Georgians, Roumanians, etc ....

I also want better bridging to/from development countries... World Rugby just plays games whilst cuddling the N/S Elite

The S Hemp Union financial instability leaves it open to Franglais rape and pillage

I have some hope that the new FFR President and his radical oriented team will promote more resilience to the gluttonous french Club set up.

I have to say that the trend towards footy set up where Club rules the roost seems inevitable?

So 4MY you are well off beam and may just be voicing your own fears?

My remarks are genuine, no good keeping significant news under the carpet.

Rubbish, you post here loving the fact that any player heads north. It's fairly obvious that all you want is a French local competition. Screw the islands, screw SA, Aus and NZ - if it's not played in your backyard you don't give a shit about it.

For me, I love watching NH rugby and watch a lot of it because the hours I'm used to working keep me up at that time. I like the style difference to our own. Most of all I love international rugby and I haven't drunk the koolaid when it comes to football like you and a few of the NH guys seem to. I like a varied rugby world where all the teams develop their own styles and we get great contests - I guess you're not happy unless the French own the game. You've been preaching club dominance and it's inevitability for years and the corresponding decline in international teams down south. How's France going atm? Who were the semi-finalists at the last RWC?

Open ended predictions are useless, anyone can say anything will happen eventually.

And perhaps people could take your "concerns" seriously if you didn't come over like you were sitting in a corner having a *tank* every time you read about a Fijian or New Zealand player who might be considering a move to France. Perhaps if you didn't post unfounded rumours and speculation backed up by nothing more than some French journos opinion.

Fast forward 10 years on this board. You'll still be preaching your open ended timeline predictions that can never be called out "because it could happen one day", the SH teams will still be kicking arse, and we'll still be getting bullshit scanned French newspapers with the latest rumour about SH rugby.

You are too bombasric and presumptuous to even consider that just maybe your interpretation doesn't meet reality.

nothing else worth saying ;)

And you're too massively biased towards wanting all world rugby to be played in France that trying to pull off "concern" for the Argies comes over as utter bullshit.

We'll all eagerly away the next unfounded rumour about or rugby demise.

Excuse me but that totally inflated comment stands to describe the level of inflated nonsense that you pretend

Pretending that you care about international rugby is a joke. You have a track record here years long of rubbing your hands together with glee whenever a player from anywhere moves to France and loses his international career. You're a French club rugby supporter who pretends to enjoy international rugby.

The sheer amount of posts that back that up would be astounding after all these years.

if tis happened it would be disapointing, they have been the only bright spark in the new teams. Id hate to see them weakened.
