I reckon Todd is above Ardie at the minute. He finished the test season off playing very well.
Dagg should be on a wing, our second best winger after BS. If NMS is there as well we will have 3 back wing/fullbacks. I don't know how important power wingers are these days but I'd like to see BS, Dagg and NMS at the back.
Crotty will probably get selected, he also finished the season off well. SBW will have to earn a spot. ALB clearly our best center, walks into the team.
Going to be a long super season, the lions tour should be the perfect motivator for players looking to impress.

Id still like to see a bit from ALB, this season will be good for centre combo's and with Reiko in the mix, will be an awesome battle, alas Fekitoa, unless he can find another gear, may find it hard, unless a horses for courses sees his big hitting style needed, but he was the big loser in 2016.
Yep the back row, its a good back three to pick, we have five really good options if all are fit.

Ranger SBW and Reiko combos for blues will be intresting this year..

ALB was sublime last season. He was playing like a seasoned senior. His option taking was class. No silly offloads, took the ball to contact if he needed to, his all around thinking was on another level to anyone we've had since the 2 GOATs left.

True about the blues centers, I hope like hell the blues go well this year! Not very often a canes fan will say that. :)

He might've dropped down the pecking order.

Hard to tell, but he deft went down the pecking order, I tried to only put in who I thought was certainties. Or close too.
The Ioane brothers the possibly only exceptions. Not sure if we have seen the best of fekitoa, he's peaked, or he can hit it up, and do big hits, and thas it.

I recon SBW will be the no 1 centre by Lions time at 2nd five. Anton leanard brown is prob nest in line. But Crotty Fekitoa, Ioane, Moala, possible a Ranger long shots.

First time forever I think we haven't got a current world class centre.

Pulu looked good, and the tighthead prop Manu I think, has been a good asset for any franchise he's played for.

Great seeing some tighthead depth
Manu, Laulala, Franks and Faumuina

Laulala is 2015 started ahead of Franks for most of Crusaders season.

Be interesting how the chiefs front row goes tonight

*fupping* great seeing Ioane play so well at 13, it will be a great Lions 13 when you look at candidates, I only know Manu and the two Welsh boys Roberts and Williams isnt it? but they are big hard lumps, pretty handy as well. Im sure theres more in the kete than that too.
102 kg Reiko has just put his stick in the sand though..

I don't reckon we're light in the midfield. If you asked most countries in the world if they'd want to swap I bet most would.

ALB, Crotty, SBW, Ioane - pick any two and you'll have an awesome combo.

We're looking pretty good this season.

The chiefs and hurricanes 2nd fives look to have the Nonu factor too. I'll enjoy the super comp for this competition alone

6 and 8
Kaino, Reid, Squire (not to sure who's next in line, but these three are for realz

7
Cane, Ardie, Todd

9
TKB (looked best in super), TJP, Smith

10
Barrett and Crudes

12/13
ALB, Laumape, Crotty, SBW, Fekitoa

Wings
Savea, NMS, Dagg, Fekitoa

Fullbacks
Smith, McKenzie, Jordie Barrett
