Post DC on the Piss in Paris
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/inte ... ce--report

Naughty boy Dan. You'll have all the usual suspects (Susan Devoy, some Woman's Rights spokesman, some advocate of total liquor bans, Green Party leader etc) out in force now saying that you should be drawn and quartered.

It's *fupping* stupid to drink and drive, but I bet a vast majority of people have done it. Personally having been in the industry for so many years of my life a drive drive conviction would've meant losing my job, business, etc - so I've never had more than one beer and driven. Sober driver for life!

They reported he had forgotten his driver's licence and his blood alcohol level was positive and measured at 0.98 grams of alcohol per litre of blood, nearly twice the limit of 0.5 grams

ignorance of the law is no excuse
sorry it has to be DC

The AFP news agency cited a police source as saying he was found to be over the limit after a roadside test, but was not arrested or detained.

"I've let down my club, fans and most importantly my family," Carter said.

He added in a Facebook post: "I am sure a lot of you have seen the headlines. No excuses.

"I will have to now let the police/court process run its course and face the consequences. I am just glad no one was harmed. Sorry."

Mike went the same way in France.

Where did he say he didn't realise this was against the law?

You can use a phrase, but you should know what it means.

He didn't say it but his actions said it

Middle of Paris ...twice over the limit...behind the wheel
how stupid one can get
normal folks phone uber or a buddy would drive you home

I liked DC though ... just think the legal tackle of Bismark was a bit harsh on Bismark and him :pirate:

He would've known the law, and there's no indication otherwise. It's the same alcohol limit as in NZ.

You wanted to use a catchy phrase and *fupped* up, that's all.

Bloody silly thing to do. Deserves losing the sponsor for that.

You can't really have a car sponsor if you're a drink-driver. Makes sense.

He'll be down a ton of cash from this, I bet his agent is fuming.
