TJ and BB to run riot.
Barrett's brother is in the team and many are picking him to be even better. Will be interesting seeing how he goes, especially now his other bro made the ABs along with BB.

I hope the cons and meat eaters have some strong teams this year.

so is there 3 or 2 barretts and do they play the same position as bb

Beauden Barrett is the current world poty. Age 25
Scott is a lock who made the final tour last year and played really well. Plays for the Saders, age 24
Jordie is young, plays at center and went to the canes this year. Age 19
Ive never seen the young fella play, but it sounds like he's a bit of a gem.

cheers will keep eye out on the younger ones this yr, have enjoyed watching BB play the last couple yrs, even with his weaknesses, is very entertaining to watch.

That's pretty much how most people feel I reckon. He was given a chance and boom, was impossible to leave him out, then he just kept getting better.

Surely over summer Grant Fox, Darryl Halligan, DC, or some kicking coach has got in BBs ear and sorted out his kicking.

It's just a practice thing.

You'd bloody hope so. If he sorts that out he could push D.C. for GOAT 10.

Steval Pumas doing consistently well in the Currie Cup but politically in the cold as were the Lions for 2 - 3 years, loaned one of their players to the Stormers for S18. Good to see he gets international exposure as his team should have been SA's nr.6 was it not for Politics.

"The Steval Pumas would like to announce the temporary departure of Marnus Schoeman, as the talented loose forward decides to take an opportunity to play Super Rugby for the Stormers on a loan agreement.
Schoeman (28) has been an integral part of the Steval Pumas squad since his debut at the start of the 2015 season, having scored 16 tries in 29 appearances for the Mpumalanga side. The flanker was unlucky to have missed selection in 2016 due to injury concerns. He is still contracted with the Steval Pumas and is scheduled to make his return on 1 June after his loan spell with the Stormers."

I haven't seen any of the preseason games, how are the kiwi teams looking??? Canes look the goods again? Blues still holding that wooden spoon or have they improved?

I haven't been following it at all.

Looks like people are backing the Canes again though so maybe their pre-season form is good. They are clear favourites with the bookies.

Blues I think, Ioane bros good to see how they go
Ranger with the Centre challenge
Forwards can Pat Tuipoloto get his super sub form back, building to the Lions

Nepo Laulala, can he take bake reserve tight head, for Chiefs he had a big season two years ago

Aaron Smith as he try's to get his mojo back for Highlander's

Nehe Milner Skudder, is he still the man, for hurricanes

I hope James Lowe plays outta his skin this year. If he doesn't break into that AB environment I can't see him sticking around much longer.

He'd be a great buy for any NH club. Very much a Dagg clone.

Yeah bro, it's a hard opening game for the locals, and a cracking away game to get out of the way for the canes. I read on PR that NMS has a hamstring issue...... hope he isn't that poor guy that's always broken.

I reckon NMS will have a really short career. Either that or he's going to have to do some radical new yoga/pilates/stretching bullshit because atm he's fragile as *fupp*.

Hammy issues can just bloody linger too.
