Steve James, writing for the Sunday Telegraph, also gives the Boks no chance at Twickenham this weekend:
He wrote: “(The Boks) are such a mess in all respects, from their structure back home to their recent record of four losses in the last five Tests to their quota-affected selection to their tactical confusion that there seems to be only one result possible in London on Saturday: England will win."

We certainly are not that confident right now but no chance ?

The English Press are up and down like a bride's nightie, Boet.

If the Boks beat England, which is usually the case, the English Press will slag off England and/or the Referee.

:dontknow:

Apparently Bristol are offering £40,000 a game to him for a contract covering 6 games. I know he's good but that is just silly money

South Africa

15 Willie le Roux, 14 Ruan Combrinck, 13 Francois Venter, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 JP Pietersen, 10 Pat Lambie, 9 Rudy Paige, 8 Warren Whiteley, 7 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 6 Willem Alberts, 5 Lood de Jager, 4 Eben Etzebeth, 3 Vincent Koch, 2 Adriaan Strauss (captain), 1 Tendai Mtawarira

Substitutes: 16 Bongi Mbonambi, 17 Steven Kitshoff, 18 Lourens Adriaanse, 19, Franco Mostert, 20, Nizaam Carr, 21, Faf de Klerk, 22, Johan Goosen, 23 Lionel Mapoe

My takings :
Will struggle with both specialist opensides injuried in Francois Louw and Jaco Kriel. Siya Kolisi also injured and Kwagga playing for the Barabarians overlooked,
Then England is also without a breakdown top player specialist.
Springbok backline looks a bit better though with more speed pumped into the back three in Willie le Roux, Ruan Combrink and JP Pietersen
This time they shifted the match quota count to backline and reserve bench and picked a competitive pack with Beast in Strauss, Koch, De Jager, Etzebeth, PS du Toit and Alberts with Warren Whiteley at 8

a GNP booster. The rand strengthened after Brexit and after the Americans played their Trump card although markets assimilate Trump now. 2019 a watershed general election here after the ANC lost the municipal election in all major metros to a DA best-man-for-the-job party. Will posiibly have an effect on the sports quota selections system aswell with it a good chance it being scrapped after WC2019 on national level at least

If it had been England winning at soldier field the English press would have had that team as the best the world had ever seen,

I think Faf de Klerk is our best 9 and openside fetcher not injured Kwagga Smit. Lions sa hooker should have been benched and midfield meastro RjvR (Rohan janse van Rensburg) at inside centre but nonetheless
I think we got what it takes. Backline better and forward pack will be a handfull

Hope England tear the boks a new hole. It's about time we had someone in the Northern Hemisphere dominating some SH sides.

Cape Town - Springbok lock Eben Etzebeth has decided to turn down any offers to play in the Premiership after South Africa's November tour. Rest for S18. Well done and will prolong his career

Was it a contract negotiation ploy?
