In my opinion the declaration was timed just right, as Glamorgan still had to bat a second time. What was a bit worrying was the length of time taken to dismiss the lower order Gloucestershire batsmen. Presumably the game was subject to the final hour 20 over rule.

Awful performance today !! Healthy opening partnership took Glamorgan past 50 runs, only to stumble to be all out for less than 100. The bowlers fought back but the batsmen must get stuck in second time round.

Glammy were effectively bowled out for 37 in the afternoon session.

Disappointing result against Kent. Aneurin Donald needs some scores quickly; most of the others have done enough to have an extended run.

Tidy performance by Glamorgan today. Need a big first innings lead because the weather could abandon play on Sunday.

All too common horrible batting performance to follow

Cannot understand it. On paper Selman, Murphy, Marsh, Carlson, Donald, Lloyd and Cooke seem a quality outfit, but they all seem to chose the same occasion to have a bad day.

What is the answer ? Personally I have no idea.

It’s a very very young and inexperienced batting line up. The talent is there but if Marsh gets out early we are relying on youngsters getting the runs.
A bit worried about Donald. The defensive side of his game is poor. Not sure he will make the grade.
