Post Sports Personality of the Year

The Program itself was a bit arty-farty but the emotion of the occasion was undeniable.

BBC did their usual professional job but they eventually reconnected the video link to the winner, which was good.

I was channel hopping to the snooker, which was heart breaking for the young lad who couldn't pot the winning ball.

All in all, a good night's telly.

Very disappointing that when the tributes were paid to sports people who had died during the year; no mention was made of ' our Don ' - Don Shepherd......

A great man and a great bowler.

He really should have been mentioned, John.

Lovely picture that Bouch. How England could do with a player of his class at this moment, not only for his bowling, but also for his stature amongst a load of irresponsible so called sportsmen.

Its just not the same as it used to be in a smaller studio with just sports people there - they used to do interactive things with the sports people in the studio - like I remember Woosnman, Lyle and Faldo hitting a computerised driver - and Redgrave, Pinsent and the Searle Boys on a Rowing Machine racing - much more fun.

Really Shocked that Mo won this year of all years. Should have won it many times before, but the year he loses his dominance he wins the vote.
