Post Re: American Football - The NFL
I saw all of the games. Out of my 4 predictions I got one right, The Patriots! It was an amazing weekend of football. Nick Foals stood up afetr a flakey start for Philly, Jacksonville were immense especially as they were so rubbish against Buffalo last week and how The Vikings won that I still don't know. The last play of the game on 4th down with very litttle clock, sensational. Can't wait for next weeks games.

I rarely miss a game, IPlayer is very good.

Predicting the winners is very tough, just as top sport should be.

Sorry for the late reply, Simon. It's highlights, mate, which suits me fine.

Superbowl. Kick off 23.30 GMT. Patriots v Eagles. Anyone watching it? I'm booked off work tommy. Patriots fan since 85. There is a vicious rumour that the Trump follows us, the most unpopular team in the NFL. I hope not. Brady has disowned him allegedly after his ructions with the league over the taking a knee protests and because he is an utter tit. Hoping for a squeaky win as per normal but have a feeling that The Eagles will win this one. Fingers crossed for another nerve racking Patriots night.

If the NFL paid that idiotic tramp more than $20 to sing at half time, then they should ask for a refund

I tried to watch but just got bored shitless by the pundits , this morning I came across this statement from QI.
The average American football game has about 11 minuets of action ,

The NBA is about the only continuous game we have here and all sport is designed around the needs of television and now hand held devices.

All pro sports have big ratings losses, with the possible exception of the NBA. I rarely watch any US sport anymore. I did watch the Super Bowl as I had a head cold which stopped me from being outdoors in the 80 degree weather here.

The race issue has something to do with it also, with the people who voted for Trump turning their backs on the NFL.
