I never see Swansea as a local Derby, more of an inexplicable event of hatred out pouring. It's like you are minding your own business and then some loony jumps out in front of you foaming at the mouth and gibbering rubbish.

That is what it is like when Swansea come to Cardiff.

Millwall were fun.

I remember years ago there was a pack of them at the front of the Grange End, half way to the left wing at the front. It was a normal 'if you want to stay alive keep off The grange End' sort of day .., chants and teenage testosterone. Then this 'pack,' couldn't have been more than a class room of them actually, flipping 'attacked The Grange End! It was hilarious the stampede. Me, I just stood by the barrier as it unfolded around me drinking my tea ... I had learnt early that the best way not to be prey is to not run in the first place.

Millwall have always been 'special'

:D

Odd game at The Royals last night - Cardiff looked beaten at half-time.

Struggling at set pieces isn't usual for them. However, City recovered.

MON 11 Dec 2017 - Championship

Reading v Cardiff City

HT 2-0

Paterson (16'minutes og),
Barrow (41'minutes)

FT 2-2

Bennett (83'minutes),
Tomlin (90'+1minutes)

A good finish for the Bluebirds. Excellent point.

The plan is to keep a lo profile ... the last time we were in this situation .. ok trust me I cain't tell. Suffice to say that we screwed up that thing I ain't telling how or why until New Years ..

If you can remember then, which I know you can do well from encyclopaedic posts of the past ..I will explain.

I am eager and confident and smiling in my teeth ...

.. As are All The BlueBirds!

I think the first time Swansea reached the top division they lost 5 games on the trot this time of year ( including 1 cup game ) can't be arsed to check, Cardiff have basically just done the same, was it 4 league losses on the trot and failed to beat a 4th tier team in the cup ?

Another great win last night away from home. I am not a big lover of football, but acknowledge that Cardiff are better value for money than the outfit down at the Liberty. Come to think of it should really say OUTFITS !!!!

I always said the same, then along came the magnificent overseas coachers and players.

Not to mention the rugby league wall defences and "around the corner" claptrap.

They now have a 4 point gap to the third placed team, Villa, with 12 games to go after today's win. One of the 12 is Villa away though.
