We shouldn't be only getting 2 points from 6 against Serbia and drawing at home to Georgia - we do not deserve to qualify.

Well done to Serbia though a remarkable turnaround - they didn't even make the playoffs in 2016.

I always expected Serbia to win it, I thought we were playing for second place before a ball was kicked, Serbia had internal issues last time, they have a lot of quality players as you would expect.

We really couldn't have asked for an easier group in which to qualify from. We'll be very lucky to get such an easy one next time around!

I thought it was the toughest group, Wales could not get Germany or Spain because our ranking put us in the same pot as them, getting Austria, Serbia and Ireland as well as Georgia was tough.

Ireland really? It must be one of the worst Irish teams we ever had when you look at the talent in the squad. Journeymen and pensioners with a very limited style of play.

It was an average group. Ireland are awful and we bottled it against them
Serbia are decent but won’t do much in the World Cup Finals. Austria should have done better

Austria was one of the worst draws at the time in pot 2, two bigger teams but only one worst draw imo at the time.
Serbia terrible draw from pot 3, only two possible bad draws and Wales got one of them.
Ireland from pot 4 was a bad draw, half the pot bad draws, half good and Wales got a bad one.
Moldova from pot 5 a good draw.
Georgia from pot 6 the worst possible draw.

Going into the draw the pots were known, Wales kept on drawing tough opponents imo through out apart from Moldova, watching the draw at the time I thought blydi typical.

You can look at it that way Trampie but neither Serbia nor Ireland will do anything in the Finals. I hope the Irish don’t make it as they are dreadful.
We rarely played well in the campaign and the goal we conceded on Monday night was unforgivable.
Incredibly disappointing.

You can't draw 5 games out of your first 6 and expect to qualify, it should never have come down to the last game, we led in all games besides the Ireland matches. We should have won the group, stop making excuses Trampie we were poor throughout

In historical terms that draw was pretty easy - usually we are in pot 4, so have the real big boys. Mark Hughes' Wales, Terry Yorath's Wales would have loved that group. The fact is we were the 1st seeds, we shouldn't have finished 3rd.

That's one of the most average squads we've ever fielded; with one redeeming quality; the ability to prevent more pedigree teams from playing productive football, periodically. In fact, our footballing tactics mirror those of our rugby team, between about 1973 and 2003; live on scraps and feed the scoreboard. Wales should have beaten us twice, as they were comfortably the better team in terms of talent, but sometimes that doesn't carry you through.
