Post Wimbledon Success for Scotland and England and Switzerland?
The tournament is now in its last few days and the shakedown continued yesterday.

Nadal, the King of the Clay Court, came up against a leftie with a big serve.

A titanic struggle saw the Leftie with the big serve win and his coolness under pressure was exemplary. Winning 15-13 in the 5th Set in that cauldron of noise is something Muller will never forget.

The 15-time major champion had fought back from two sets down before Muller took a fifth match point to win 6-3 6-4 3-6 4-6 15-13 in four hours and 47 minutes.

Johanna Konta also won a great battle and steams forward to a quarter-final against Romanian second seed Halep, who will become the world number one if she progresses. This is the third match on Centre Court today.

Andy Murray won nicely, as expected.

3 Sets to Nil.

So, you're a Scarlets supporter who can't abide other sports?

Enough said. West is best isn't it?

Well Murray has bottled it mentally. Just doesn't want to be there. Hes completely given up in the previous and final set.

Yes? So did Djokovic and for the same reason then.

Thank goodness for Konta, eh?

Representing Australia is one way of looking at it.

Is Konta not British qualified then?

Good grief.

Venus Williams looked sharp and strong today. That was the end of Konta, sadly.

The older of the Murray Brothers and his partner, the one and only Martin Hingis were razor sharp as well,

They won very easily and are the reigning champions of course.

They'll take some beating on that form.

Jamie and Martina won 6-4, 6-4 in an hour or so. Beautiful to watch.

Enjoy the video.

British interest both sides of the net in the Mixed Doubles, this is bizarre.

Quote:
Heather Watson will face fellow Briton Jamie Murray in Sunday's Wimbledon mixed doubles final.

Defending champions Watson and Henri Kontinen beat second seeds Bruno Soares and Elena Vesnina 6-4 6-7 (6-8) 6-3.

Murray and Martina Hingis overcame Marcelo Demoliner and Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez 6-2 7-5.

A shambolic bit of scheduling by the BBC saw the Experts Chat given precedence over live Tennis with British interest

When the producers (there must have been several) finally agreed that this was a fupp-up, they condescended to show the key part of James Murray and Martina Hingis' win before the end of the daily highlights. Good decision, girls ....

Oh, Federer won btw. Not a surprise, he's playing like a grand piano.

And Cilic won as well - good contest that one.

And, Here's Boris ....

Analysis

Boris Becker, three-time Wimbledon champion: "Usually cars have five, maximum six gears - Roger Federer seems to have 10 gears. Whenever he's in trouble he comes out with an even better shot.

"All credit to Berdych, he really took it to him and played great under pressure, but every time we thought he had a little bit of a chance Roger was just coming up with another magical shot. That's what makes him the greatest of all time - to do it over such a long time, at 35 potentially playing your best tennis, who would have thought that?"

Hingis is playing great as well, Boris. She's 37 at the end of September and Venus Williams is older again - she was 37 last month.
