It's a big ask but do able if Ingram and Miller get in and stay in.

Unfortunately not...good innings from Rudolph, but the money players failed.

Glamorgan had a great campaign, and with hindsight should have batted first. Top marks for the tail, particularly Salter, who came within inches of converting the impossible into an amazing victory.

They had every chance of winning the semis but the big players flunked it.
EVen at the end they could have done it.
Still, I hope they can build on it but Rudolph will be a big loss and Donald needs to be more consistent as well.

Donald has been consistent this season, he's been bad at every version of the game.

That's a little harsh Langland. Donald does need to be a lot more consistent though. They always seemed to be a bit behind yesterday but they made a game of it. In the end our four no balls to their none made a lot of difference.

I was listening in on the radio and, when the first 5 wickets went down, the telly became more interesting ......

Gruesome stuff, gents.

5-1 (0.4 ovs) Donald - 4
31-2 (3.2 ovs) Ingram - 11
39-3 (4.2 ovs) Miller - 0
48-4 (5.5 ovs) Carlson - 3
67-5 (8.6 ovs) Cooke - 10

:wtf:

The flurry at the end didn't even raise false hopes :-

Salter - c Hose - b Woakes for 27 runs with a 192.86 SR

de Lange - b Stone for 16 runs with a 160.00 SR

:(

I guess Donald has a roll to play; and that is to hammer the ball out of the ground from the first delivery. In a 20 over match that is good tactics. When he succeeds Glamorgan win; when he fails there is plenty of batting to mend the situation. Give him time; he is quality !!!

Look at his 4 day scores though and lack of production in 50 over cricket also.

He averages 27 in the four day game and 5 in the Royal London Cup. That's pretty poor.

May well be Langland, but the lad is 19 or 20, and remember his 200 run innings last season. Give him time please !!
