Post Batting is easy
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/38904731

Fast bowlers mature a bit slower than batsmen.

Spin bowlers need a few more years as well as there's a hell of a lot to learn.

Kids who bat get a few runs on times against the bowlers and the latest Superkid looks sensational no doubt.

Quote:
Indian cricketer Mohit Ahlawat hit an extraordinary 72-ball triple century in a local Twenty20 match in Delhi.

The 21-year-old hit 39 sixes, including five off the final over, as he posted a round 300 and his team Maavi finished on 416-2.

Quote:
Sri Lankan Dhanuka Pathirana smashed 277 off 72 balls playing for Austerlands in a Twenty20 match in England's Saddleworth League in September 2007 while Indian schoolboy Pranav Dhanawade set a new record for an officially recorded match with 1,009 not out in January 2016.

His total for KC Gandhi School broke a 117-year-old mark set by 13-year-old AEJ Collins in a house match at Clifton College in June 1899.

Not sure that 20/20 has anything to do with conventional cricket, and age and experience less so.

I'd set out his achievements for the last few years but never mind.

I think it's good entertainment for the new young fans who have the attention span of a gnat, but has little to do with the game of cricket and all its psychological elements.

Watching the pyschological struggle between Ashwin on the one hand, and Root and Cook, on the other, was fascinating

I think it's helped both batters and bowlers tbh. It's a bit like 7's rugby to rugby.

The fielding has improved dramatically and so has the money.
