I think they do the same for all major event now...because of the difficulties getting to the hospitals through the crowd...I believe they started it for New Years celebration and then for the 6 nations

Mab, I believe that the level of policing today in Cardiff is exceptional ?? Reports relate to forewarning by "... intense intenet activity suggesting significant planned violence".. seems to me 'Sport' is now on a par with 'terrorissm'...   :D

Well Cardiff had more fans banned from going to the last world cup than any other team in the UK...now mix them with some of those lovely Millwall and Chelsea fans...mix in some of the hardcore Swansea fans and a fair mix of thugs from the other sides, all communicating over the internet and mobiles to arrange a meet.

All adds up to some exciting times for the police...

Still only a minority of fans...I can't see why the authorities get them all together and arrange some sort of thugs tournament to keep it of the streets...

maybe the Millenium Stade could convert to the Colosseum for the privilege.... I note that the brand name has sstill not been contracted... maybe Moffet has this venture up his sleeve.....

Come to think of it Wales/NZ might serve as an hors d'oeuvres ? :D

I know a lot of friends that go to football....;) I haven't been to a football match since the seventies and that was my only one

Mind their was one night I ended up in a chelsea headhunters pub cos we heard it was open late...the reason is it could open late is cos the police were to scared to go in to close it down. Scary place....

The friendly face of football. The Chelsea Headhunters. I knew a few of the lads there. one owned a printing company, one was a solicitor the other owned an estate agents chain, and the last one was a foreign currency dealer for Barclays bank. Typical football hooligan material really ;)
