Don't, just don't, Prys.

Denying your club is such a Saxon thing to do.

Even if there aren't many in our sides.

:D

And Chelsea win at the Olympic Stadium.

MON, 06 Mar 2017 - Premier League.

West Ham United 1 - 2 Chelsea

Lanzini (90'+2min) with Chelsea's scorers being Hazard (25 mins) and Costa (50 mins)

That was very comfortable. Hazard walked around the goalkeeper and Costa, unmarked, nudged his goal in from 10 feet.

1. Chelsea 27 - 66

2. Spurs 27 - 56
3. Man City 26 - 55

4. Liverpool 27 - 52
5. Arsenal 26 - 50
6. Man Utd 26 - 49

Well played Crystal Palace.

9 minutes extra time and we still scored only the once.

Bugger.

Chelsea's surprise defeat by Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge makes the title race "more interesting", says Blues boss Antonio Conte.

The Premier League leaders suffered only their second home defeat of the season as Palace boosted their survival hopes with a 2-1 win.

Quote:
"For (the media) it's a good result, because it makes this more interesting in the championship," Conte said.

"But I always said the league finishes when you have the mathematical certainty that you won. Otherwise you must fight, you must play every game to try to win."

Two draws today.

Swansea nil-nil with Middlesborough.
Arsenal 2-2 with Man City.

As It Stands

1. Chelsea - 29 - 69

2. Tottenham - 29 - 62

3. Liverpool - 30 - 59

4. Man City - 29 - 58

5. Man Utd - 28 - 53

And then Arsenal in 6th - 28 played and 51 points.

Surely Arsenal will qualify for Europe?

3 mistakes/goofs and it's 2 - 1 to Chelsea at half-time.

Our goalie hit a ball 25 yards straight into the chest of a City player and one pass from him left us naked ...

:dontknow:

All's well that ends well.

Stones should scored in the last minute but fluffed it over the bar!

2-1 to Chelsea and every point was precious tonight.

A very comfortable win for Chelsea with several lucky breaks and we maintain our lead.

SAT, 08 Apr 2017

AFC Bournemouth - 1 - King (42'minutes) from a deflected shot that left the goalie helpless.
Chelsea - 3

Smith (17'minutes og), Poor bugger headed into goal. The shot from Costa was going well wide. A real freak of a goal.
Hazard (20'minutes), The goalie saved the penalty and the ball came straight back to Hazard's feet.
Alonso (68'minutes

Throw in a Luiz slice that was brilliantly saved by our goalie and it was a weird game at times. Dull it wasn't.

What's next?

Bournemouth complete a back-to-back double of the Premier League's top two with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur at 12:30 pm next Saturday, while Chelsea are reunited with former manager Jose Mourinho against Manchester United at 16:00 pm on Sunday, 16 April.

Rashford, on 7 minutes, scored the first goal for Manchester United and the man who found him with a pinpoint pass was Herrera, who scored the second after 49'minutes.

Manchester United totally dominated the game and the handball by Herrera that stopped Hazard in his tracks was a thing of beauty, as was Herrera's deflected shot that sealed the win for United.

Quote:
Marino said it was just another game and he has stated that, "I'm really happy with the boys. I'm happy - it's not because it's Chelsea, it's because we need these three points.

"I don't feel extra joy at beating Chelsea - we beat the leader. It doesn't matter if the leader is Chelsea or another - we beat them convincingly. Nobody can doubt our credit to win the game."

Quote:
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, speaking to Match of the Day: "Manchester United deserved to win because they showed more desire, more motivation, more ambition to win this game.

"It is simple. The fault is mine, because this type of situation the fault is the coach. I wasn't able to transfer the right concentration, the right motivation.

"This league is not closed. Tottenham are on great form and playing with great enthusiasm, but we are playing a great season and we must try to reach this target.

The FA Cup semi-final between Chelsea and Tottenham at Wembley Stadium will be broadcast live on BBC One.

The London derby will kick off at 17:15 BST on Saturday, 22 April.

That is another one to savour.

C'mon Chelsea !!
