cant help thinking Clement is the wrong man.

Rowett seems to be a better bet.

That was a dreadful performance and result yesterday, and Swans are now bottom. It's looking very much like Paul Clement, who has a massive job on to get the Swans out of this mess. In some respects for him, it's a win win. No one would be surprised if the Swans went down from here. On the other hand if he gets in some fresh stock in the window, and pulls it off, his stock is going to rise significantly. It's a massive challenge, I hope if it is him he can pull it off.

I can see Swansea becoming the whipping boys this season in much the same way that Aston Villa were last season.

If he can tempt some quality German prospects over, on short term deals, that could be the difference.

There again, the feeling seems to be many among Swans fans, that we're down no matter what.

Is the next game Palace away? We have to get something from that.

Huge result for the Swans, and gets them off the bottom. Still in deep trouble, but it's a great lift.

Final score : Crystal Palace 1-2 Swansea City

15. Leicester - 21 points
16. Middlesbrough - 19

17 - Crystal Palace - 16 with a -7 GD
_______________________________________________________

18 - Sunderland - 15 with a -18 GD
19 - Swansea - 15 with a -22 GD
20 - Hull - 13 with a -27 GD

The Swans have to score a lot more goals in the second half of the season after conceding far too many in the last half dozen games.

I still think they've had it, but it's a funny old game. All the luck in the world, Mr Clement.

The Swans play the top four and Southampton and Leicester City in their next six games. They need a shock win against one of the big boys to stay in touch.

Out of those games :-
Arsenal last 3 away games they only got 1 pointt
Liverpool failed to beat Sunderland last time out.
Southampton have lost their last 3 on the bounce.
Man City were lucky to win last time out and lost the time before that.
Leicester have only 1 win in their last 5 league matches.
Chelsea failed to win at the Liberty.
Tough games but not impossible to get some points, Swans will hope to perhaps get a draw at home to Arsenal and beat Soton and Leicester at home, but you would think they would be unlikely to get any points away to Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea.

Rumour is Chelsea are after Llorente

Swans could make a quick buck on him if true.
