 Re: Swansea City
The last place to stay up is the 17th placed team.

 Re: Swansea City
They are losing ground to the likes of Palace, West Brom and West Ham who all won yesterday. The Swans have two really hard home games up next. They need to win won of them or they will be adrift.

 Re: Swansea City
No chance now, not only must Swansea start winning, but the five teams above them need to start losing !!

 Re: Swansea City
Good start last night as Man U murdered one of the opposition. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42600026Pogba was tremendous. Stoke had no answer. A Valencia (9'minutes), Martial (38'minutes), R Lukaku (72'minutes) FT 3 - plonk.

 Re: Swansea City
The Swans beat Wolves 2 - 1 with J Ayew (11 minutes), and Bony, 69 minutes, getting their goals. The new Manager, says the team is getting more confident so that's good. Carlos Carvalhal's side now face a trip to League Two side Notts County in the fourth round, with the game to be played on Saturday, 27 January. Well done the Swans.

 Re: Swansea City
BTW, whisper it quietly but - Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool has now lost lost three Premier League games against Swansea, more than he has lost against any other opponent. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42685212

 Re: Swansea City
Unbelievable result, but the Swans MUST push on from here and strengthen their squad. Too many of their relegation rivals are showing survival commitment and the reality of the situation is that although they have scored seven points from 4 games they are still bottom of the league.

 Re: Swansea City
Klopp finally lost it?...
He's been losing it for years, shocking that he hasn't had a few touch line bans this season
The gurning weirdo.

 Re: Swansea City
Swansea City moved out of the Premier League relegation zone for the first time since November following a shock victory over Arsenal. Clucas (34 minutes, 86 minutes) and J Ayew (61 minutes) were the scorers last night. A horrendous error from goalkeeper Petr Cech gifted a goal to Swansea and that was very welcome. Swansea earned back-to-back wins for the first time this season, while Arsene Wenger's side have won only three of 13 Premier League away games this term. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42784104Another 2 wins would be tremendous for Swansea. Snag is they visit Leicester in the Premier League on Saturday (15:00 GMT), getting something from that game is a long shot. After that it's the FA Cup game and then it's home to Burnley. Inside a fortnight we'll see whether the Swans really are escaping from the doom and gloom at last. 14 - Huddersfield GD-25 - 24 points15 - Newcastle GD -12 - 23 points 16 - Brighton GD -16 - 23 points 17 - Swansea GD-18 - 23 points 18 - Stoke GD-25 - 23 points19 - Southampton GD-11 - 22 points 20 - West Brom GD-12 - 20 points

 Re: Swansea City
Great point for Swansea yesterday and - right on cue - the previous manager has a grumble. Tut, tut.

 Re: Swansea City
It was a good point but it came at a cost with Fer and Bony both confirmed out for the season. They should have strengthened more in the transfer window
