Everyone complain please because it's political and in the wrong place. Or are we perhaps all grown ups?! Hmmm.

Being Welsh and thick, can someone clarify for me whether Stewart Lee is making a feeble attempt at comedy or is he actually trying to write a serious article.

Since he's writing for the Guardian, I can only assume he's being serious. :dontknow:

Much of what he writes is quite surreal. The anecdotes he writes are usually completely made up.

I personally find him very funny but I think that some of his stuff requires you to first have some understanding of where he is coming from. Stewart Lee the comedian is presented as a character by Stewart Lee the person...his ex comedy partner , Richard Herring jokes that coincidentally, the character and the person writing the material have exactly the same opinions.

Serious points, expressed in a sarcastic vocabulary. Stewart Lee is much more than a comedian.

I saw his 'Content Provider' show last year here in Lincoln. Hilarious. I absolutely love his Guardian column and the manner in which he rips the piss

I can no longer edit to my last my post...But I forgot to add that the fluffy racist pigeons have most certainly come home to roost. Now we have Mrs May insisting that her party vote against the disclosure of the whole 'Windrush' scandal and weight it's dead body down so deep that it sinks into The Mariana Trench never to be seen again. Captain Jack Sparrow eat your heart out....Stewart Lee does have a point.
