Post Pro14 contracted TV rights and Country share out
Can somebody please explain what this might mean to the current set up and what advantages it may incur for the participating Countries/Unions.

I believe that there are currently separate rights and/0r shareout?

I hope this injects more money into the coffers of the Regions.

And I, preferably hope that most of the money is used to develop Welsh talent rather than buying expensive players from SH.
I do not mind if the SH players are Wales qualified, grandparents or parents, which is more than possible.

I don’t mind NWQ players coming in if they are quality as it raises standards

The issue Ireland had a few years ago was a lot of NWQ players in the front five... particularly TH and an over reliance on Mike Ross... who actually under went a core part of his development in England

But it clearly has been good for young back row players at the blues for example to play alongside nick Williams

The more Welsh players return the more important QUALITY NWQs are!?

Silly schedules insist on long Intl squad absences, parallel scheduling during internationals and extra AI's etc.

Also, valued NWQs are useful in progressing development players by their wide experience and other climes rugby.

I still remember Osps days of Marshall, Hola and Collins ;)

The Scarlets have signed 2 more NWQ forwards for next season to keep them competitive in the various windows.
We have 13 with Wales, plus Barclay at Scotland, J Davies and Ball injured.
