Priestland at 12 is a brilliant idea !!! But two things come to mind; first who would replace him for the final 79 minutes, and which of the New Zealand centres would have a blood splattered shirt.

Better 12 than 10 IMO. Especially against the blacks.

Not 12 but 15. Played there many times for the Scarlets and always gave a good account of himself. Have a look at this.......

Owen Williams is the future at 10. He has proved himself in that position in the Aviva with Leicester and now Gloucester. He has been ignored for too long and Gatland and co should take the blame for that. The centre position demands experiments and candidates are Patchell, Amos, Tyler Morgan and Anscombe. No good sticking with centres whose style may is past the sell by date.

Lol....Opposition lneout ball, they throw it to the back, it's quick, it's neat, straight to the 12 from scrum half, Flankers are cursing and the stadium collectively winces...

I would prefer Priestland to be watching the game from the comfort of his home. :bootyshake:

I can see your point, i can remember O Driscoll putting Roberts through gaps etc and mot just using as crash ball but I think the more valid issue is the euphoria being covered over Owen Williams at 12.

I think it was ok, but a great result, I dont think so and we need to pursue Priestland, Patchell over a period before the world cup, even Biggar. I think as we are getting stuffed in the six nations and at 60 minutes we will see these things occurring but alas will mot have a firm indication to asses anyway
