Post No, Wales are not the only rugby team with problems
Why do people in this forum talk as if Wales are the only rugby team with problems and everyone else is so wonderful? No one has ribbed into Ireland's second-string's quasi-loss to Fiji or Scotland's 1.5 string's quasi-loss to Samoa and, earlier this year, actual loss to Fiji like they have to Wales' second-string's quasi-loss to Georgia. (The growing evidence is that Leon Brown was genuinely cramped up when subbed off and Nicky Smith would have been out of position had he been brought back on, fwiw). Only really New Zealand have such strength-in-depth that they can thrash Tier Two teams even with a severely weakened squad. Even England before Eddie Jones came along were nothing special - not one piece of silverware between 2004-15 apart from the 2011 6N. They may have the potential to be the best in the world in a way that may not really be the case with the other three Home Nations, but have they always realised it? France, South Africa and Argentina have all declined significantly in recent years, Australia are up-and-down and Italy going largely nowhere, but again no one subjects any of them to the same scrutiny and ridicule that Wales are given. A little more perspective and balance could go a very long way.

If you live in a dirty house, you can take comfort that other peoples houses are as dirty as you, but your house is still dirty.

Do you mean dirty as in unclean, or dirty as in sexually adventurous? If it's the latter, then I wouldn't give a toss about what other people's houses were like, as I'd be balls deep in some Swedish, lesbian gymnast.

Today, France (which, lest we forget, has by far the wealthiest rugby union club league in the world) only scraped a 23-23 draw with Japan. Had Japan been more accurate with their kicking, they might have actually won it!
