Whether Howley is the coach we need or not. I agree, his record is quite good. The problem is one of having to work in a position where he can't make all the changes he wants to, assuming he wants to. My point is that if he had full control he might make more changes.

Just what I think... it's a bit of a conundrum with howley as the wru have invested a lot into him... taking over as no.1 twice, released for lions tours, and seemingly having his contract renewed without question

So do they throw that away or give him a go. My money is they will give him a go but may not have too much patience as he doesn't really have the cv to warrant perseverance. Plus dai young will be mentioned every time howleys Wales lose
