Post Hubbard Gloucester player of season
Congratulations to Richard Hubbard on being voted by Gloucester supporters as player of the season. Pushed Moriarty into second place. Hibbard much fitter, same dog and Gloucester know their warriors.

Good club man now but his best days are behind him. Outplayed by dacey in the recent game against the blues. I am glad he is performing well for glos but we have to let it go lads

+1. And btw, it is Hibbard not Hubbard. He is not a Scientologist!

Yes apologies to Richard Hibbard whose surname I got slightly wrong. Yes I have watched him often this season and he is rightly being lauded at Gloucester. Has also stiffened up the front row with his great scrummaging ability. A great embassador too for the Principality. Saw the Gloucester v Cardiff game and yes the Blues hooker had a very good game. A different sort of player with some great skills no doubt honed in the back row before transferring to the front row. Once he is given his chance in the Welsh shirt he could be difficult to dislodge. Depends what sort of game Wales want to play.

Hooking isn't part of the job anymore so you could either put a big limp or a 4th back rower there and get away with it, throwing in is just practice.

Have watched Gloucester a number of times this season Hib as put in some good shifts, good club man as the award points out but no longer as the edge for an international in my view.

Do you have an exception against more than one 'H' in a game? :D

Took getting out of the goldfish bowl and being ostracised from the National squad because he wouldn't adhere to the standards required.

Nonsense. I heard he got dropped because he was unfit and overweight (see his nickname). He joined Gloucester and got fit and lost weight. I think the Ostracisation was his to fix. Not a goldfish bowl thing.

Definitely don't think we are in a position to ignore him in the build up to the next World Cup, would god a good option coming off the bench in the latter stages.
