The 32-year-old lock has been forced to retire due to a long-term knee injury.

Considering how his career has turned significantly below the level at which he should have been playing, and the alleged reasons for it, you have to wonder if it's as much cantbearseditis as much as knee.

Being made redundant by email and having your contract paid up probably helped him come to this conclusion

We will always wonder what a team he would have made with AWJ with both on form

Always saw them as the ideal pair.

Silliness ie ill discipline did tarnish reputation but can't help thinking that Welsh Rugby missed a trick ...

Shame He and AWJ had the potential to have been the best 2nd row pairing in Welsh rugby history
Good luck Ianto

He was a key player in some of the best Welsh teams in recent years. A proper lock forward who knew how to clear people out and allowed others to play there game. Responsible for giving half backs quick clean ball, something the team has consumately failed at in recent years. Like others, Phillips Adam, let down by Ospreys inability to manage people.

Won a GS, Toured with the Lions, only thing not on his CV is a RWC... Certainly not a 'could have been' in my estimation.
