Aye, still involved with the coaching of the junior section when he's got a chance iirc. Ashley Beck coaching at the club too.

Trebanos' rise to the top is showing no signs of slowing down following the capture of the Division One West Central title.
The club were in the old Five South West division in 2011, but have since gained four promotions in six years and now they are just one victory away from the National Championship.

"It's really exciting for the club," said team manager Neil Jeremiah. "We thought about playing in the Championship when we were going through the divisions.

"We've always had aspirations of playing at the highest level but in reality it's nearly there. Everyone is really excited about the play-off and the prospect of playing in the Championship. For a little village club like ours, it's incredible."

After beating Seven Sisters 31-7 to secure the league title, Trebanos must now face Division One West champions Kidwelly in a winner-takes-all encounter for a place in the Championship.

"It's been a long season. We lost our first game at Maesteg but we got back on track and have only lost one since," he added.

"There is a great feeling among the boys, they are all mates and they have all grown up together. We've recruited well over the years too and everyone just enjoys their rugby.

"There is no money involved, they just love the club. I'm over the moon for them because they've worked so hard.

"Over the years we've come second or won a play-off with our promotions so this is the first time in the last five years that we've been outright winners and won the title."

That's some achievement, especially as they've done it without paying for players.

Still too close to call really ......... Kidwelly 7pts down with a home game to come.

Trebanos backs exceptional for the division, but their forwards are nothing to fear. Be a close one.

Only on the platform laid by the forwards, but yeah, the backs are top notch, obviously Mr Beck is a dab hand at coaching.
